YTSL
Nice video but I must admit to being shocked by the emotional outpouring in the wake of Michael Jackson’s death. No offense meant — but did he (and his music) really have that much of an impact on your life?

fallingstones
hi ytsl, in the past 10 years, i have almost forgotten him. but 20 years ago, i remember we were singing to his tunes, dancing to thriller, doing moon walking, etc. that was the era in which i will remember mj. and the news of his death brought me back to those school days where we rehearsed thriller in the school hall. and shouting “beat it!” all around. those memories are precious and his music was part of those precious memories.
